1g Throttle body or PORT and POLISH 2g tb?

what would be cheaper/easy? to go out and buy a 1g tb or port and polish the 2G tb?

or port and polish the 1g tb?

whats the real gain by openning the tb up?

Okay I found a TB from a guy here on dsmtuners for a great price! I'll post pictures of it when I get it.. So if I plan I rebuilding it should I have someone do it or do it myself?
