1g TB and Intake manifold

I am kind of interested in getting a 1g throttle body and intake manifold. Do you guys who have installed this on a 2g feel a decent power gain in upper rpm's? Is this mod worth it to do or should I not waste my time and go with a 14b turbo? Help is greatly appreciated

For the 1g throttle body to fit, you need to port match your 2g throttle body elbow and your intake manifold (if you are using a 2g intake manifold). This mod alone will open up your top end power alot.

For the 1g intake manifold to fit, however, you need to port out the 2g head a whole lot. In my opinion, its not worth it do do this. It would be alot easier to swap the 1g head with the 1g manifold. This would flow alot better than the 2g head, and the cam profile is a bit better on the 1g mt head.

If you don't wanna swap heads, I would suggest to just swap the TB. Its going from stock 54mm to 60mm, so its a good top end upgrade.

just do it you can get one from a junk yard cheap and then just clean it

Yea, I'd just get the 1g TB and port match it to the 2g throttle body elbow and the 2g intake manifold. Easy and cheap mod. Also, if you are keeping your EGR and all those goodies, you need to extend those rubber hoses that plug into the top. Not hard at all.
