1g tb and cyclone intake manifold for 200 good deal???

my friend is offering to sell me a 1g throttle body and a cyclone intake manifold for $200, is that a good deal?

without a way to actuate the cyclone manifold not much use from it. there is a write up on hear on how to make a controller for it.

I would say unless you want to figure out how to actuate it properly (either ECMlink or a T25 wastegate) and possibly have some issues getting it to work correctly, then I'd just avoid it.

The 1g throttle body would be a good upgrade, but it could potentially need rebuilt depending on the condition. And if you would want to bolt it up to your 2g intake manifold, you would want to port the opening to take advantage of the larger bore size.

If you don't really know what this manifold is since you didn't know it needs to be actuated, don't buy it.

Yah, if your buying things, you need to do all the research you can to make sure that you will be able to make it work and that it will be right for your project. An intake like that should be used with a bigger turbo, and a build that is NOT stock.

What is your definition of "a bigger turbo"? Are you talking anything bigger than stock? Or something like a 35r/HX40 or bigger?

This manifold will work just fine with any turbo. I'm pretty sure the one guy that I know is using one on an autox car is running a 16g variety turbo.
