1g talon engine into a 2g talon?

My boyfriend bought a turbo engine for his 92 talon n/t but it was going to be too much work and too expensive to convert the talon to a turbo so he bought a 95 talon with a seized engine so I was wondering if it is possible to put a 1991 eagle talon tsi engine into a 1995 tsi awd talon? would any major modifications have to be made?

It's called a 6 bolt swap. Tons of threads and how to's on this. Modifications needed? Yes, some, nothing too radical at all. It's a fairly common swap these days, although maybe not for the novice DIYer.
