not the most recent, now it pulls up w/ the hatch at an angle and the wires aren't just hanign out, but you get the point. Oh and it looks like wrinkles in the carpet at the bottom but they aren't, I don't know why that showed up anyways here it is

not custom or any of that fancyness. just 2 10s in a bandpass box. takes up most of my hatch space, i can fit a backpack back there and thats about it.

ok just one question, i stripped everthing out of my trunk, so now it is just bare, but there is that big hump there, did you guys just work around it or what...

you've got AWD huh? yes that hump needs to be worked around. mine is FWD so i have a big hole to work with, much easier.

although your AWD is a bit trickier, still very possible.

on a side note: sound deaden the trunk while your at it. if you don't want a ton of weight like DynaMat, try a spray in sound deadener. (Plasti-Cote makes a great spray can of spray in bedliner, my favorite for simple jobs. $7 @ WalMart!!)

thats cool, im just gonna go with the dynamat extreme, im coo wit addin some weight, i'll just use speed every once in a while, i'll use the audio system everyday so i want it to be the best it can be

I just screwed wood around the sides and back of my back to get it over the hump. But, if this is going to be a permanent install, and you don't plan on selling the car (i.e. putting the spare back in), just get out yer handy-dandy Sawzall and cut that thing out

I really like Chucksters tho, that's the only 1G sub install I've seen where you can still actually fit stuff in the hatch.

Thanks Kyle! I do a lot of carpentry and diy stuff, so my hatch doubles as a truck. The floor is raised about four inches for all the electronic muscle and it's hinged in the front so I can still get to the spare.

two 10'' audiobahn flame q subs that rms at 900 watts each and a phoneix gold amp that rms at like 1100, all 4 gauge power wiring and all monster wire cables. inclosed in a sealed box, awesome set up

No, just a little ten inch. It gives a nice flat response in the sealed box. I finally found a grill that could handle the excursion. It's offset to keep the main cargo area just a little bigger.

Chuckster, where did you find that grill? I have my sub in a box that fits into the sparetire well and am looking for a decent grill to help keep things from hittin my Type R. mainly I am worried about my kids stroller....

two 12" high excursion audiobahn's in a 3 cubic foot box. it would fit under the rear hatch cover and the rear seats were fully functional. ended up selling it after diong the nt-turbo conversion since the thing weighed like 500 pounds it seemed. should've carpeted it, never got around to it.

Mike, I bought those through www.partsexpress.com If you open that link, type "bar grill" into the quick search. They carry 10, 12, and 15" versions in chrome or black.

I just measured mine. The ten inch version has 1 3/4" clearance from the baffle out. I can't tell if that changes for a 12" grill. Of course you could always put some spacers under the grill.

I do, however, believe a stroller wheel could get in between the bars. There are four bars on mine and they're spaced two inches on centers.

Don't bump that with your baby in the car!

nah, the sub is set to 0 with my kids in that car... I dont have the best hearing after 10 years in the Marine Corps Infantry, but they are young. I woont screw thier ears up.

As to the wheel, the wheels are always one angle when the strolller is folded, so I could just turn the Grill Bars to 90 Deg offf the wheel angle.
