first off. what do i need to start logging on my 1g with my old laptop? (please be specific)
second does anyone have a good wiring diagram for wiring HID's in a '90?

I recommend getting dsmlink. Do a search and you'll find out.

And HID kit into halogen housing is BAD. Glare galore.

Definately look into getting DSMLink. I have an AFCII with pocketlogger and a Palm Tungsten T3 now and I don't like it. It's good equipment but it is much easier to tune when everything is integrated into one piece of software. It just gets a little frustrating going from my palm pilot back to the AFC and so forth.

How am I still a New Member status and my dsm setup & knowledge is beyond a noob oh well...

HID noobs always don't listen and put HIDs into halogen housing and bi*** about how they don't have a nice cut off like factory HID cars. You're better off putting HIDs into projectors than a halogen housing but nothing replaces a nice HID setup. FYI. S2000 HIDs are liked by many.

Because you haven't met the necessary requirements yet. If you feel your status should be upgraded then read the section of the rules that explains the requirements and do what you can to meet them.
