hey guys.. i have a couple questions.. ]
the car is a 91 tsi awd auto.. it has a 14b turbo second gen exhaust
balance shaft elim kit and 450 cc injectors. stock fuel pump.
plugs gapped to 23 thousanths

first off.. what color wire goes to the oil pressure sending unit?
second.. what sensor is on the front of the oil filter housing right next to the oil filter.. short and black. front of car opposite of pressure sending unit)and what color wire goes there..

second
we got her fired up.. but after we shut if off there was a ticking (every few seconds) and sometimes a tick tick.)from around the intake area. it would continue to do it even if we unplugged the battery..

i am thinking the injectors arent strong enough and are popping open to residual pressure.. but wouldnt that go away after one or two ticks.?

also.. i pulled all the spark plugs and they were soaked with gas.. so i pulled em and pulled the (what i thought fuel pump relay.. right next to the battery) but that wasnt it.. so i pulled all of the injector wires.. and that allowed me to clean out the excess fuel..
well i put the plugs back in and theh wires back on and for shits and giggles i cranked it over without plugging the injectors back in and it would pop and sputter and die.. and crank and pop and sputter and die..
so do i have leaky injectors?

i would prefer if you could call me with an explanation

First do you have a 90 or a 91 because it makes a difference. Your car info says 90 but the thread title says 91.
On to your questions:
1: A blue wire goes to the oil pressure sending unit for the gauge (at least on the 91)
2: The short, black sensor is the oil pressure switch for the warning light, there should be a yellow wire going to it.

As far as what to unplug so there is no fuel, that is the MPI fuse on the battery connector.

Hope this helps!
