Honestly this strut tower bar feels strong as hell. I bolted both harnesses up to it and gave each harness a mighty tug and the whole car rocked but nothing else happened. I can't see a situation that I would be able to survive in the first place that would put the strut tower bar past is failure point. If I didn't think it was safe I wouldn't have ever done it. Like I said in another post, you'd be surprised how weakly the stock shoulder belt is held in at the top, try two 8x1.25 bolts. My pair of 7/16" bolts in the rear are much larger and I feel as safe as the stock shoulder harnesses. Hell take a look at the harness bars that sparco sells for cars like the evo and wrx, it's nothing more than a strut bar that goes right behind the seats.

idk about that but that sparco thing looks pretty safe i dont think id ever use something like that im just worried that if someone were to get in a accident and the strut tower like ripped off or moved something bad could happen..dont get me wrong its a cool idea
but dont want to see anyone hurt...maybe we should get more opinions

i was trying to put them on top of the rail and then put the bolt in...(i gotta learn to work smarter not harder) anyways you said you have the shoulder straps goin to the rear strut bar right ?
