i have a question. i spun a rod bearing on my stock 2g. i got the motor apart with the help of some knowledgable dsmers. being that 1g rods are better will they fit on my 2g 7bolt crank? if so what type of steps need to be taken machine shop,ect.. any help is greatly appreciated im trying to get a little extra power out of my 7 bolt.

Can anyone confirm this for me, please?

I found this thread and it really confused me. Even though a Wiseman said "yes It can work".

Also I found this:
--------center to center---Big end bore--Big end width--Pin diameter--pin bore
6 bolt:------5.905"-----------1.890"----------1.115"------21mm------.8281"

7bolt:-------5.905"-----------1.890"----------1.038"------22mm------.8671"

So by those number the 1G and 2G has the same diameter but the 1G is thick?
