Have a video if it helps but like the title says these three are on all the time just as of this past Friday night. Was doing some pulls and got on the brakes and these 3 popped up and never went away. Car runs fine so I started and while idling I pulled the negative side from the battery and stayed running, ECMlink shows 14.1v while idling.

Doesn’t appear to be any shorts, this coming weekend I’m jacking the car on all 4 and getting around to replacing my rear brake rotors and pads so I’ll investigate further.

Any ideas? I’m sure pulling the alternator and having it tested would be a wise thing, it is a GM alternator. Feeling like I’m gonna need to identify and remove ALL grounding straps and do my due diligence but honestly just trying to get these lights to go away. Got my OCD going wild about it.

Try taking a voltage reading with a normal dc volt meter across the battery. Then put some load on it - headlights, blower, rear defroster and see if it mostly keeps up. Maybe compare that number to a log.

Odd that they flash with turn signal though. Or is it when turning the wheel?
Definitely a good idea to check your grounds.

I'd also shy away from disconnecting the battery while running. This isn't your grandpas farm tractor. ;)

I hear that on the battery disconnect; I didn’t like it either but felt I needed to rule it out.

Ok I’ll give that a shot when I’m standing over the car which is every weekend as it’s not a DD, see’s about 30-40 miles a month and the sporadic idling sessions.

Finally got around to looking it over and found my wiring harness had cooked itself on the front engine mount. About 7-8inches of charred wiring, amazing.

Repairing that and will chime in afterwards; don’t want to leave a dead end thread.

Replaced the charred sections, wrapped in Tessa tape and mounted where it should be located…. PROPERLY.
Battery light, radiator light and brake light completely gone, blinkers blink and everything works again.

THE END. :)
Before the repair

Any idea how that happened?
I do, the previous owner had zip tied that section near the front engine mount and over the course of time it just rubbed through and shorted against the metal. Should’ve caught the issue a long time ago. I did some “while I’m in there” clean up in the area but now it’s zip tied with those harness clips against the front clip under the radiator and is solid.

That’s what I think happened; when I found the section of wire it was literally sitting directly on the front engine mount on the sharp part so makes sense to me that it just cut through and exposed some wires.

If it happens again under its current setup then I have other issues but I don’t foresee that however I’ll keep my eye on it.
