I'm still stuck on where does the coolant line for a 1g 1992-94 oil cooler line connect to by the thermostat housing ? I seen some pictures, but it just show the 1990 thermostat housing that had no oil cooler line and 2g thermostat housing. I also seen them coolant diagram, but i'm still confuse on where does the coolant line from the oil cooler connect to on the 1g thermostat housing. A picture of it will be awesome.

I got 2gb talon with a 6 bolt swap ( head and block and ect. )

Edit: I know believe I have a 1990 thermostat housing with no oil cooler line for the oil cooler. If I could just see a thermostat housing for a 1g that has the location for coolant line on it for the oil cooler will be fine, too. Also, could i just use a 2g water neck on my 1g thermostat housing?

I'm sure the cars that came with oil coolers had different thermostat housings with extra ports. Just in case.. As long as there is a supply and a return down stream it will flow with no worries.

The 90 housing has one nipple on it to connect to the turbo coolant line. The 91- 94 housings have two nipples- one for the turbo, one for the cooler. They also have a pipe that bolts to the block and is connected to the cooler with a short hose on one end, and a longer hose at the tstat housing. The other hose at the cooler runs to the water pipe that comes off the water pump and goes across the front of the block. I can try and find pics but Im not sure if Ive got any complete motors to take pics of. If you wish, you can use the 90 housing. If you look at it, there will be a spot that looks like a nipple would be installed. You can drill this, tap it for 1/8 NPT, then go get a barb- 1/8 NPT x 3/8 hose, screw it in and youre good.

Are you talking about the trans cooler, or an oil cooler? On a 90 model it was oil to air, with no coolant lines.. As for the trans cooler I wouldn't know..

Thanks for the idea. Ill probably end up taping it, if cant find a 91-94 tstat housing.

Got it. Just saw bought one. It turns out i had the 1990 housing with no port for the oil cooler.
