1g nt maf trouble code

I have a 92 nt eclipse I have 2 trouble codes of air intake temp sensor and baro sensor i think the only way to fix those is to replace the maf unit which seems to be costly is there a better solution to fix or mod that i could do for the same money that would increase performance? thank you

Check the connection at the MAF sensor and the wiring harness. The connection will somtimes get corroaded and the wires will get pinched or broken because someone wasn't careful checking the air filter
