Code 12 trouble (MAF)

My check engine light came on so I got a buzzer and checked it. Turns out it's the MAF code. I just put the third MAF in the car and the light still comes on. And yes I cleared the ecu each time. Also at anything over 40% throttle the car just chokes but when I ease into it it accelerates fine. I'm new to DSMs and I'm not sure what to try next.

On the plug for the mas:
Check pin 6 green/black wire for a good ground.
Check pin 4 green/red wire for 5v supply.
