1g N/T wont stay running

Ok so im pretty new to the dsm world and bought a 1g N/T car 4g63. It ran good for a while now suddenly today i went to fire her up and it runs for a few seconds then shuts down. Im sure it can be a whole lot of different things wrong but can someone point me in the right direction to get started checking things? Any info would be greatly appreciated

i had a problem with my talon stalling out like no tommarow when i gave it gas... ended up being the M.A.S. was bad .... btw how many miles are on it?

try checking the isc. Unplug the mas sensor and start the car, If it runs then you know that you have a bad mas sensor.

the car has 180000 on it i unplugged the mas sensor and started the car and still did the same thing

Try unplugging the IAC its the big plug on the bottom of the intake manifold

ok so i unplugged the idle air control that didnt change anything im pretty sure its something with the fuel pump relay because i know that the pump runs when you turn the key on the start mode and when you let off it will run and die but when it goes to die if you turn the key to start again it will keep running till it runs out of fuel again how can i run the pump hot all the time just to check it? and if that is whats wrong how to resolve the problem completely

One thing you could check is the 80amp sub fuse. I had problems with my car dieing all the time and was about to put in a new altenator when I checked that fuse. Good luck with your car.

does anyone know how to wire the fuel pump hot for a little while just to make sure it is the fuel pump relay
