Durham,
my friends n/t fuel pump is going bad, im wondering if a stock replacement should do fine. if so should i get oem or advance auto brand?

thanks

there is no reason to buy bigger fuel pump to stock n/t car... if u need more fuel then get better fuel pump.... but other than that.. stock fuel pump will do fine...

well, i just talked to mitsu dealer, and they said about 330, is there any other place that is cheaper

$330 is just totally outrageous

check your local dsm boards, or even this sites classifieds section, 300 plus for a fuel pump, is retarded go aftermarket if you must for cheaper.

yeah, 300 is nutz, i know that the walbro is 100, but i wonder if they make a stocker, no a higher flowing. i saw some at advance for 100, but they were made by MASTER... are they any good?

I went the ultra cheap upgrade, I bought the 255 for my gst and put my stock one in my 92 n/t gs. Autozone only wanted 130 for a stock replacement. Try there

I had the same problem except my dealer wanted $380. I told him to go f*ck himself. My '91 1.8 is running fine with a walbro 255 fuel pump for only $95. Before you check the pump, check the fuel pressure regulator on the intake, and make sure the vacuum is within spec; 36-38 psi. If it isn't then you know the pump is bad. If it is, and it still isn't running right, try replacing the regulator with a higher flowing unit like a B&M. See if that does it...

my friend has a 2.0nt, and she is not gonna do any mods to it, is the 255, or the 190 too big?

im 80% sure its the fuel pump
