Hello

I am Rick I live in Kansas I run a mail order company

I sold my 2000 Celica Gts less than 30 days ago and bought a 96tsi so I am new guy here and please before anyone bites my head off I have searched the forum for 3 days now and nothing is to be found on what I'm looking for probably my fault but I have tried.

I am wanting information on installing a Mitsubishi eclipse 1g 4G63T in a 2g eagle talon. The company says it will work with a set of custom motor mounts but everything else works fine. I have looked for this swap in the forum to no luck and I have looked all over the web for the custom motor mounts a company is suppose to be making. If anyone can please help point me in the right direction.

Thank You

Rick

Rick the 6 bolt swap is getting pretty common these days. Just follow the instructions...no magic tricks needed to get the 6 bolt in.

Yea the 1G 4G63T into the 2G has got to be one of the easiest swaps out there for any car :p . But make sure its a 6-bolt (from a 1990-april/may 1992 turbo dsm), even though the 7-bolt 1G motor is stronger then the 2G 7-bolt IMO. Good luck with the swap and if you have any questions/problems feel free to ask, many people have done it!
