What are the advantages of using 2g pistons in a 1g engine? What has to be done to the motor to do this?

That's how you do it. 2g Pistons (95) were the good pistons and 1g (92 I think) was the dam good rods. So instead of buying FORGED pistons and rods you can do this and get off way cheaper and probably do just as good with this setup vs forged.

CLICK HERE This link explains the 95 "Good Pistons" in full detail and why you should use them. ;)

CLICK HERE This explains alot with the whole 1g-rods_Vs_forged-rods scenario.

Hope these help.
