2G 1G head swap on 7 bolt. Options for the MAP sensor?

1. Im not even sure this is the correct forum, please steer me in the right direction?

2. Im not even sure that I am referring to the MAP sensor? I will try to take a pic and upload it...but this is what I refer to.......pics 7 and 8 in this link.

PO had made a adapter for it to bolt to with a vac fitting....looking for something cleaner? Options? Can I really hack it like that guy did? Welding is not an option and Id prefer to not have to pull the IM and JB weld it.

Im thinking something like he did, and get a vac distribution block and tuck it low with all the lines going to it and this be one of them.

Thoughts?

Mitsubishi calls it the MDP, or manifold differential pressure, sensor. A MAP sensor is for a completely different purpose. If you can make something for yourself or want to try a unique solution, by all means, go that route. For those that can't or really want to support some of our vendors, there are a few options out on the market designed specifically for that application.

Keep the 2G head and get an EVO/RVR intake.

Too late, got the car with a head swap already..... IDK if I would have done the swap had I had it to do with to begin with.

Yeah I used the remote adapter for mine. I plan on replacing it with an omnipower 4 bar later on since I have ECMlink.
