OK, so I have a 1G motor/ head
I have already pulled the head off the motor so no further tests can be done unless it involves just the head or short block.
First off it failed a coolant system check (exhaust gas in cooling system)
I also did a compression test which indicated 120, 150, 150, 150
I added a little oil to the low cylinder and retested which brought it up to 150, which almost always indicates rings
But pulled when I pulled the head I discovered that the exhaust valves on the low cylinder were brown like they had been coated with oil
Would this be the cause of a bad valve or seals causing blow by on the valves?
On a side note at some point in time a PCV valve had gone bad because the intake, ports, and intake valves had oil residue, and the compression ratio was said to 7.8:1
Thanks for your time and knowledge on these cars
