1g head question: water pipe?

Hi,

I am doing a 1G head on a 2G block for my 95 GSX.
I have 2 1G water pipes and both don't have the connection where the 2G pipe connects to the oil cooler coolant line. How did you fix this eror and do you have pictures available?
Are there any other things that I have to watch out for?

If you don't have it already, looks like you need the 1G water neck assembly for starters. See if this helps any...

Hi,

I have the 1G water neck. But the 1G water pipe doesn't have the little tube for the oil cooler connection. And I need to see how people connected the oil cooler.

You must have a 90 water pipe which has the external oil cooler. You will probably need to either get parts to switch to an external oil cooler or get the 91-94 water pipe that will have the little tube you are looking for.

that tube on the water pipe can be bypassed to the return line that normally goes to the oil cooler.

I got the 90 filter housing to eliminate the water line myself.
