1g head on a 2g car

i just bought a 95 tsi 5sp awd with a bad head i have a good 1g head my question is can i bolt a 1g head to a 2g block and if so what else do i need to make the install go smoothly? I have searched this topic and cannot find a answer can someone please help asap! i would like to get a parts list if possible. thanx

OK so what do i need isn't the water housing different do i use the 2g intake do i put the 2g cams in the 1g head? hook me up i don't build 2g all i know is 1gs and 3000gt i need some assistance here?

Sorry bud! From what I hear the 1g cars are better than 2g cams so I would use them. I dont know anything about the water housing?!!!

Yes, you will need the 1g water neck/t-stat housing, 1g intake manifold, and the 1g cams are fine. Check the link 5150 gave you, it's pretty simple.
