So getting right to the point, I need to have my 1G GSX warm up for 10 minutes or so before I can take it out for a drive otherwise it feels like its missing or sputtering at low RPM. I had a shop retune everything for just normal driving but they couldn't seem to tell me what the problem was.

I think its strange because this motor is rebuilt and only has 25k on it, so this is something new(I've had this car for 10 years already). However, it sat in my garage for about a month in a half without being started(carbon build up?). otherwise Ill take the car around the block every other week or so. Thanks ahead of time for any advice or direction.

well if its been sitting like you said, maybe its bad gas.

Do you have a wideband?Sure it may be bad gas but if your profile is current I would make sure you have the tuned dialed in and stuff right.

Its not uncommon. You should always let a turbo car warm up. You should ideally get to operating temp before going out with it, especially as cold as it has been here. Normally its going to be because your ECU is seeing how cold it is, and is running you rich to warm the car up.
