1g Front CV Joints Interchangeable?

I've got a bad outer CV boot and joint on my front drivers side axle that is making some racket on my GVR4. I also have a spare passenger side axle in good shape that has been sitting in my attic forever. I was just curious if anyone knows if the outer CV is the same on each side? If they are the same then I'll throw the passenger side outer CV on the drivers side axle and buy some boots, grease, and clamps to rebuild both axles.

If anyone knows I'd really appreciate the info since I'd rather not have to pull the axle out of the car and have them be different and have to throw it back together again and wait for some new axles from Raxles.

From what I recall the CV JOINT itself is the same - The Shaft Assemblies a different length of course being we are AWD.

Thanks for the info guys. I'll order the rebuild parts and start swapping stuff around.
