I have no power to my computer. I was having some problems with it, so i sent it out to steve (the guy that does tons of computer fixes) to get new caps, cleaning and a transistor needed to be changed. I put it back in my car it ran fine for half an hour, i then stopped it and a short while after i moved it in my driveway. After i tried starting it for the third time it would not start. It just turns over but the tach dosnt move and dsmlink will not connect to the computer. I got wiring diagrams for the plugs going to the computer and i found out that my power wire to the ecu is actually a ground.... what does this mean? Im not getting any power to it at all. I have the key in the on position and the off position and it is grounded

Sounds like the power wire shorted to ground some where and blew the fuse, hence no power and the power wire showing a ground connection. Trace it, fix it and replace the fuse, you should be good to go. What pin are you talking about for the power one by the way?

i checked my whole car for blown fuses and couldn't find anything. The ones by the clutch pedal, the 3 off the battery and the fuse box in the engine bay, i dont know how to check those black box ones, but all of the fuses were fine. And out of the 3 connectors that are plugged into the ecu, its the smallest connector, and its the top corner away from the computer. the first one is a ground and the second is the power. thick black and red cables

Well, start tracing the wires then, if they should have power, then there should NOT be a ground source to them at the same time.
