ok her goes i have a 90 talon with a 91+ ecu yes i swapped pin 6 and 14 but the car will not run properly i have a log that is posted below.

the car is staying in open loop and the o2 isnt cycling, it does when i give it gas but stays in open loop if i lock coolant temp it will change over but idle will drop and car will die if i unlock coolant temp it will rev back up and switch to open loop again

here is my mods maybe someone can help me kinda set this car up to work its my daily and its a total headache

i am simulating my o2 with the wideband in the front o2 location

i have a coolant temp sensor dtc will that lock open loop i doubt it since sometimes it will stay closed loop but most time it will not even when im in closed loop at idle it will still not cycle the o2

please help i need this car up and running asap

Why is your coolant temp either 11 or 226 deg? it never even changed at all threw that hole long log.. as well have you checked to be sure your front o2 is good?

i mentioned that in my post it has a dtc for temp sensor and if i lock the temp sensor you can see it will hit closed loop and idle goes way low and dies and o2 wont cycle and the o2 was cycling the log before that one but i didnt save it and they were within 5 minutes of each other i dont understand it

would the coolent temp sensor issue cause the car to be in open loop because it runs terrible when it in open loop as i havent had any tuning experience so i dont know what to do to fine tune it just to set it up which obviously i cant do that well either

Hey jesse have you tested the cts or changed it out, I thought you got a new o2 sensor, once I changed mine I was able to simulate it and for the short time the car was running it was working still working on the car though.

that new o2 was just a narrowband its no longer in the car
