1g bov on stock 2g

You need a 6 bolt swap too because the 1g bov WILL cause crankwalk.

In a round-about way, perhaps this is true.

You buy a 1G BOV because your 2G stocker likes to leak. After installing the valve you notice that you can now generate a lot more boost. Your thirst for power doesn't stop until soon you have a GT35R running 30psi on the stock low end, requiring an ACT2900 to do some good launches at the track. Next thing you know, excessive crank end play.

This proves that a 1G BOV install can indeed cause crankwalk.

If your looking for an alt version of attaching the 1g bov to your 2g. Consider the better flowing rre upper ic pipe to stock 2g pos and it also comes flanged for the 1g bov...

I run an aftermarket type rs on the 1g bov pipe with soft pipe cut to fit my 2g. It's pretty simple, and is holding up really well.

I have done it along with Very Slightly crushing the Bov and it works well You can also do it so it's reversible ...

This thread wasn't because I was looking to run a 1g, it was because I had someone tell me that they were running a 1g or were going to and could do it without a adapter. Which I found hard to believe. Thanks for the replies though.
