1g block in 2g

ok here we go and i apologize if this question has already been awnsered......i have 97 talon tsi....i went with the 6 bolt block and kept the 2g head...i just dropped motor but the engine mount wont work out........what modifications need to be done to mount?....do i modify the 2g bracket or modify the 1st gen bracket? im about to pull motor out tonight to take off the timing belt to install the mount......please help me somebody..... if u have a picture or diagram that would be awesome...also is the timing set diffrently due to the swap?.....thnk you

on that swap you have to use the 2g motor mount and slice in the crank sensor harness which is only two wires.]
everything else should bolt right in.
that is the only changes i had to do with mine
