:dsm: Simple question and I know someone knows the answer. I have yet to find it anywhere but I'm going to put the 6bolt 2.0 L Block into my car (sbr) do I need to buy a 1g Head ? or does my 2g head fit with little or preferrably no modifications ?

from what i understand it bolts up. the only problem is puttin a 1g valve cover on the 2g head...you need to drill the holes for the valve cover bolts a bit...

Negative. The valve covers are the same and bolt right up without any modification.

The head will fit just fine. You have to use a 1G CAS and you also have to drill out the holes for the head stud/bolts from the 11 to 12mm.

hes right.. have it my car

If you use a 2g 7 bolt head on a 6 bolt block, you will have to enlarge the cylinder head's holes for the head bolts by 1mm. The 7 bolt uses 11mm head bolts while the 6 bolt uses 12mm.

I was also wondering about this and what exactly needs to be done aside from the CAS, and the 11mm - 12mm holes . Is there a how to thread or anything especially on the CAS wiring, i searched and came up with nothing
