So I got 2 questions there is a really clean 2g gsx with a 5 speed, then I own a 92 gsx auto currently, I'm tossing the idea of getting the 2g due to more aftermarket options, I love both body styles I just want to know what you all think I live in Washington so I'm next to metro transmission who can build my auto I'm worried about 5 speeds and the availability of built transmissions for them pros and cons? I've read forums debating the 2 but they were all dated over 3 years ago. Thanks guys

What are your goals for the car? People run 400whp+ on stock 5-speeds without issue. Of course some fail at even stock power but it comes down to the driver and how well the car was maintained.

Also don't both 1g and 2g have about the same aftermarket options??

Well i ask mostly from the older posts i was reading, people were saying the 2g had more options available, seeing as this is my first build and only ever owning a 1g i dont have the knowledge to know if this was true.
