1G 1g 93 TSi won't start (Again).

Well to start off. When i bought the car the head gasket was gone. I changed the head gasket, got 400 miles out of it and it went again. Checked the head, and it was warped, and cracked. So i bought a new head for it and it's been nothing but problems. It has good spark, getting gas . I checked the timing several times, and made sure to turn it over six times to make sure the oil pump came back around. Cleaned, and checked all the injectors and fuel rail. Replaced the knock sensor. Possibly the ecm? Any input is appreciated.

Ok so you need to check compression, you say you have fuel so that is a good sign, but still check your coolant temp sensor if your plugs smell like fuel this could be the problem. Pull your ecu located under the radio in your car pop the cover look at the caps to see if they are leaking and smell if its rotten egg smelling that means they are bad, and if you have a known good maf sensor swap it in and maybe try that for shits and giggles. I almost forgot when you did the timing belt did you by any chance hit the crank angle sensor if this is loose or the wire is broken then your car wont start!!! You will have to pull off the timing cover to check for this though which I dont think would be a bad idea at this point for you but do all stated above and then check the crank angle sensor!

If you have fuel and spark, the only thing that you'd need to add to the mix would be compression.

I'm assuming if you DO have both of these, you did the timing belt wrong, and are probably going to look at purchasing a new head and doing the timing belt kit correctly.

Verify that you do have fuel, spark, and compression, and then get back to us, because if you have all those 3, your car will run.

I've been doing a lot of trial and error. I found out it's not getting gas, and im not sure why. Fuel pump is working, and it's coming to, and through the fuel rail, just not getting to the plugs. I have 160 to 165lbs of compression in every cylinder, and the timing is correct. If i put a little gas in the cylinders it pops up, and dies. Lost at this point .

Do you have access to a different CAS to try? Also, just because a fuel pump makes noise and pushes some fuel doesn't mean it isn't bad. I've dealt with that at least 3 times on various vehichles. I'd bet that isn't it though. Check the wires to the CTS, and test the sensor, too.

I do have access to a different CAS, and i have had pump problems with this car myself. I'll check the pressure on that too. It's really not that far off.

Assuming you're getting the correct fuel pressure check your ECU. Pretty common for 1g's to have the caps leak on the ecu and need replaced. Do you have access to a noid light? Check to see if the injectors are pulsing and also check for voltage at the injector. With the key turned over you should see about 13 volts on one side of the injector pigtail and while cranking I believe roughly 5 volts between the two pins on each injector connector. If that checks out then check to make sure your injectors aren't clogged (unlikely for all 4 to clog at once, but possible).
