1g 7 bolt 4g63t in a 2g talon tsi

i just got my 95 Talon Tsi AT FWD on August 2nd. the guy put in a 94 tsi engine but the engine hasnt been fully modified to specs. I know they are both 7 bolt engines but i also know i have to modify the 94 engine to get the car to run n be driveable. Currenently it just makes a clicking noise when the ignition turns. Im thinking it needs a starter as well. I'm going to have the engine taken back out and redone right.i was wondering what i will need to make the 94 engine work in the 95 car.

yeah. i have to buy and 1g to 2g harness adapter to use the CAS to send the signals that the cam sensor and crank sensor would send
