2G 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS Passenger airbags

Where can I get passenger airbags? Also, where are you guys getting parts in general for these? I've mostly been using eBay and RockAuto.

I highly doubt anyone makes those airbags new anymore. If someone does it's probably not a trustworthy brand or product. That sounds like a junkyard part to me, or like Dusty said check the vendors who do partouts

i have a set of airbags for a 3rd gen, i think the steering will one might work on a 2g. the connector is the same .... fucit now i gotta go check

nope not even close.
so anyways the only airbags i have that i want to get rid of is a set of 3g ones and a 2g drivers airbag. you would need some quality fabrication skill to make any of them work for a 2g passenger side.

try posting a want ad in the classified. i bet someone has one to sell

That's kind of what I thought, but most of the ones I have found are either front end collisions where the airbags deployed or junkyards that specifically take those (and a few other things) out and sell them the second they show up on the lot.

yeah usually they sell them to body shops.
