2G 1999 Chrysler Sebring 6g73 want ECU programmer

OK I have a 1999 Chrysler Sebring JXI with the 6g73 engine in it, is there a way to program the ECU in these from a laptop, dont care if it connects over RS232 or USB, the less expensive the better, I just need to log data and probably adjust EFI mappings, my laptop has this hardware:
1.6 Ghz intel Atom CPU
2 gb DDR2 RAM
intel graphics 945
320 GB of HDD
No Bluetooth
RALink Wireless-G WiFi Controller
Windows XP Pro 32 bit
1 RS 232 port
2 USB 2.0

If you switch it over to run on the 98-99 Mitsubishi ecu and sensor setup it is flash tunable. I have no info on the mopar stuff.

Why are you needing to tune the car?

planning to do some NA tuning; cam grind, catalytic converter removal, EGR removal, and would like to go to a lean burn setup for more torque, like my 57 ford and my 77 ford has, as for the reason, its just what I got

Why are you needing to tune the car?

come to think of it I was told a Diamante manifold swap does wonders by the 6g7 engine community, so would the entire ECU and sensor setup from that work fine?

Unless you are adding a turbo(s) swapping some stock parts around and being able to tune the ecu aren't going to make the engine much more powerful.

mostly Im just trying to keep it from freaking out if I chop off the emissions, as most cars computers will cause rich running or just plain bi*** when I mess with emissions crap, are these the same, hell maybe even set it up to run e85 since its so cheap at 1.25 per gallon compared to 215 per gallon for standard petrol, of course there is the fact that I no longer trust computers that I cant check and reprogram
