1997 eclipse firewall

Hey guys, I have 1997 Eclipse RS, and I am going to be putting Underglow/Neon on it, and I was wondering if anyone could help me find out where a good place to wire through the firewall for the switch. I've looked and I really don't see anywhere. Please help, and Thank you

You can drill your own hole as there is room above the gas pedal area. You can use the main wiring harness grommet under the dash (takes some work to push a wire through it, using a coat hange with the wire attached to push through helps). You can also push it through the steering column boot (have to poke a hole first of course).

I just re-read what I wrote and I wasn't clear on a few things.

For drilling your own hole it's easiest to drill one from the engine bay. I don't have a point of reference for a 420a engine bay though so I'm not sure where to tell you where to drill, but I think it should be just left of the throttle cable mount on the engine side of the firewall.

The main engine harness passes through a grommet under the glove box on the firewall. I said "dash" in my original post but that tells you almost nothing

yeah i think i found the one on the passenger side, under the glove box, i might just run it through there and mount my switch on the center console, or either do it from the steering boot
