March 21, 2013 - Heatshield made

Well, last summer I kept having overheating problems with the a/c on, so I decided I would finally do something to hopefully prevent that from happening this summer. Took the car to a local fab guy, showed him a few pictures of what I was thinking to have done, and here is the result

I think he did an ammaazziinngg job and will definitely be having some other things fabbed up by him. I took him an idea and he delivered the finished product exactly how I was thinking. Now to get my a/c recharged and try this mother out

April 1, 2013 - Got married a month ago, Import Alliance trip, control arm bushings changed, and goodies from the junkyard

Let's begin with the wedding. I got married February 17th to a wonderful young lady. Here are a few pictures from that wonderful day!

Oh, and the rings. I love mine

Then left after the other important things

And then the next weekend I left....for Import Alliance! I had to represent! But also, I have just been selected to go into the Air Force as a commissioned officer, so I will likely leave this summer, perhaps before Summer IA even. So I took this chance at going to an Import Alliance while I can. I will be an RPA pilot in the Air Force for any that care

April 1, 2013 - Control arm bushings changed, goodies from the junkyard, and snow

After I got back, I noticed that my tires were beginning to wear a bit unevenly on the inside inch or so...toe wear. I knew the bushings were bad, so it was time to replace them. Fun stuff

And then a few weeks ago I went to the local pick and pull to get some parts for the new daily (sold my jeep), and found a few goodies for the DSM!

New daily:

Black rear seats

And I got a hardtop headliner to cut to fit for my aftermarket sunroof (###)

I can't remember who sells them, he has a for sale post in the freelancer section I believe. I think it was around $60 as well.



Just a few pictures. I did the first few, you can tell the editing difference. Still getting used to the new camera (old Nikon D40 was stolen a few days ago) so I may have overedited them a bit in photoshop. Oh well

Thank you sir! I have been selected to be an RPA pilot, so I will fly unmanned aircraft for at least the next 6 years of my life. I never thought about the military, so I just applied to get a commission roughly 7 months ago and here I am. The pay will be very nice haha, I am looking forward to that! And for sure, I will be moving around quite a bit the first few years for training so I may happen across your base in the process haha

Thanks man! I have the Ingalls kits all the way around. I also have a control arm spacer kit in the rear to go with the adjustable ingalls pieces. The front I have the adjustable control arm bolts. It has all worked great for the past 2 years, nothing ill to speak of the setup

Put on a solar wing...they are extremely rare and I have seen very few of them. I freaking love it. It's the little things that count

Welcome to the AF and good luck at OTS. I hope to apply to the rated boards again by this time next year, so maybe we will find ourselves working together at some point. Keep us updated on your ship date!

Thanks man! The exhaust is custom. Basically just 3 inch straight back to the dual tips
