1995 Eclipse tire size questions.

Hello all. Okay I need a little help. I have a 1995 Eclipse gs fwd 420a n/t. My question is the tires on her right now are 215/45r17, will I have problems putting on 255/45r17's? If so what should I do , roll fender, spacers????

I believe the widest tire you can run on a 2g are 245's, then you start rubbing stuff. Why would you want such a wide tire on a non turbo car anyway?

Because he wants to be hellaflush and ride with 6* camber !!

There was a good.deal on these tires. So I grabbed them.

So basically what do you think I would have to do to make them fit.

Did you even check to see if they woukd fit the rim you have? These are not only wider they are taller. Good deals arent always good deals.

Yeah they fit the rim. And I mounted the fronts to the car. There's about a inch between the top of the tire and the upper balljiont stud. I didn't turn it to see if it rubbs yet. The rear looks like it Probly will rubb on the suspension or upper control arm?, don't know what its called.
