1992 talon non turbo dash light

Hello everyone,

I am new here so bare with me I have a 1992 eagle talon non turbo and I want use it as my daily driver but I dont have any gage lights...all the other light I high beams,seatbelt all work. I check ever fuse and they all seem to work and I had I light by th fuse box come for a couple seconds the it died. I have also lost my door dinger and I a'm stumped pllllleeeaasssee help me

This is hard to filter through. Have yyou bridged from one fuse to another or bypassed the fuse? Checked the gauge lights themselves?

have you rotated the gauge light knob on the left side below the fog light switch?

Check the fuses in the engine bay. if I remember right there is one that controls the buzzer and im also thinking something to do with the dash lights.

It's called the dimmer switch, make sure it is "on" first.

Sounds like the dimmer switch went out since i learned that i get them whenever is see one just incase, check thato out.

Yes I have checked the dimmer swicth and the fuses again still no lights i have made no mods the the wireing soooo any other ideas pelase post them

Would the heater resistor {big black fuse like thing} burning out have anything to do with the lights since up here in canada it's getting cold and I have not heat but the heater work before.

I am really stumped here people I really need some help WTF

I had this same problem with my 93 talon the dash light went out and i did hours of trouble shooting and i never figured out the problem. So i looked at the wiring diagrams and just hard wired them to a switch so i could turn them on when it got dark out.

well I figured i would take another crack at finding to problem
with the dash lights. took the dash all apart to check all the blubs there all
still good, went a bought a mutimeter and went over everything with it and
a test light everything is good. so finally i came back here and say everyone
saying check the dimmer switch.

sooo it took the switch all apart and it's burnt baddly
i am puttin up a pic. of the inside of the switch

so now I need to if someone has one they would willing to part with or if someone could tell how I can wire it so I have lights again to a switch or
button I can get a my local parts store

try putting wires into the connector to create a closed circuit and your lights will always be on?
