1G 1991 Eagle Talon Tsi ABS Removal

Older Eagle Talon owner needs to know the details of removing the ABS from a 1991 Tsi, awd. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks-Ted

You'll need the proportioning valves and a couple brake hard lines from a non-abs car, or bend up your own lines from straight brake line tubing. There are two lines that run between the proportioning valve and the ABS pump and then to the wheels. You'll need lines that go directly from the valve to the wheels, bypassing the pump. Then just remove the pump. That's all that's required. If you want an especially clean removal you can remove the ABS wire harness and the control unit under the dash.
