1990 oil tap for 50 trim????

i need to know where the oil needs to be tapped from on a 1990 6 bolt block. i think RRE says that it is tapped from the hole that points straight down from the oil pump assy. if there are pictures of a 1990 oil pump assembly they would help as well.

they are different on 1990 than 91 and up correct?

you want to take it from the oil filter housing not the oil pump

yea i know where to get it from thats where it is tapped from now. i just wanted to make absolutly positive that i was right, and that i didnt blow my turbo. now i got to send it back and hopefully they will send me a new one........

Now i am starting to second guess myself. This is a pic before i installed my rs49t. I used the upper right fitting for my oil feed. I bought the car with a 6bolt already in it, not sure what year it is. By the looks of it i have the 90 setup since i dont have the water cooled oil cooler. I have driven the car with the turbo for about 3k miles i would say, no problems so far but i dont want to continue driving it if its wrong. Can someone tell me for sure what year this is from? On the link below my pic doesnt really look like the drawn one of the '90 but i could be wrong.

Alright! Thanks a bunch man. I couldnt find another picture like my oil filter housing anywhere so i was like wtf. Glad to know that I did it right.
