1G 1990 GST Water Pipe

I need a water pipe for my 1990 GST since mine is in rough shape and probably would not last long once I got it on the road. It has rust on the end where the hose would connect and other spots internal spots, In general its got bad rust issues. My issue now is locating a replacement. I put an add in the classifieds and checked eBay. I see some from other Eclipse years/models that look close but I was wondering if there would be other pipes that would fit from a different 1g and which year and model would get me close. I can weld so I could modify with parts from my current water pipe as long as the main pipe is the same as the 1990 GST pipe. Does anyone have any experience like this or has anyone attempted to do this? .

Thanks for any help or advice on this. I really need to get the car running before my HOA gets on my ass .

If you can weld, any 1G turbo water pipe will get you going.

Here’s a post with all three versions of 1G water pipes shown. To create the 1990 turbo version from the later 1G turbo versions, weld shut the small nipple on the right hand side (water pump end).
