190 with a 50trim?

HI all, I am in the middle of doing some serious part ordering. I am moving to a 50trim(plus all supporting prob 650 inj) and was wondering would I overrun a 190 w/ rewire?

i got the same question.... i have a 190 rewired and was just wondering what size fuel injectors and turbo is reasonable.... how much horse can a 190 support up to???

Ive heard most places that a 190lph will only support up to 325hp so if ur planning to run a 50trim turbo it would be best to get a 255lph and a fuel pressure regulator. Ur probabley gonna need a safc or a gm maf and translator also depending on whether or not u wanna vent to atmosphere

Granted, I am a mile above sea level, but I went low 12's and made over 300 uncorrected AWHP with a 190 pump and a 50 trim.

What are your goals? If they are modest then you should be able to get away with the 190 with a rewire, however the price difference is so little between fuel pumps I would just get the 255 and never have to worry about it again.

I had a 190 with my G50 (650 injectors and such). I have recently swapped in a 255 and it pulls much better. Go with the bigger FP.

I run 22psi on pumpgas everyday with my 50trim. I have a 190 pump on the STOCK WIRING and it's fine.

The 190lph pump, contrary to what many believe, is good for about 450hp.

Stockspyder made 421 whp using a 190, and I know of at least 2 others who have made well over 400whp with it as well.

Just thought I'd add some data from VFAQ and Jeff Lucious:

At 12V the 190 LPH flows ~320 HP at 63psi effective FP (20psi + 43psi Base Fuel Pressure)
At 13.5V the 190 LPH flows ~420 HP at the same 63psi effective FP.

So at 20psi on pump it's a suitable to most turbos.

Problem is that at 70psi effective FP (25psi + 43psi Base FP), the 190 will only support 280 HP @ 12V and 380 @ 13.5V.

So if you're thinking of running big boost, go with the 255HP or SupraTT pumps which re-wired are good to ~500HP.
