Sorry to threadjack, but I'm looking at a set of 17x9 they are available in +22 or +38, my car is dropped around 2" would it be better to get +38 and a spacer? If so what size?

+38, you might need spacers (5mm) in the rear, front should be fine,

do you plan on running a 255/40 tire?

Ummm, whats the title of the thread?

Since I'll have to spell it out for you, I was first planning on buying 17x9 wheels but decided against it and bought the Evo 9 Enkies.

Get it?

Want me to get the thread title changed to " I was going to get 17x9 wheels but got 17x8 instead"

Stock wheels when I first got this thing...

Couldn't pass them up. I'll probably be looking for some Dunlop Star specs in the near future now that I have the wheels.

Just got them back from the powder coater today
Love how they ended up :D

You should weigh one of the wheels to see how much the powdercoating added to them.

I only ask this because I want to get mine powder coated and I'm just curious. I'm still going to get them done either way.

Well here's what we have when it's all said and done.

So, I came across this cool item for checking wheel/tire fitment....before guessing and thought others might find it interesting.
