2G 17x8 +35 on my 2g

I recently bought some Rota Grids, 17x8 with 35mm offset.
I just need to know what size tires would be recommended for my 2g. Its strictly a daily driven street car, never sees the track. Its on stock suspension right now, but i do plan to put some megan racing coilovers on. Tell me what you guys think.

245/40/17s would be the max I would put on a 8inch rim if you plan to go any lower in the near future. Might have to roll the rears a tiny bit depending on the brand on tire and how low you go too.

I used 235/45/17 on my old enkie wheels. Plenty of space to lower it and still have a nice size tire.

Thanks for the replies. I was worried about the offset being a problem, im not a wheels and tire guy.
