ok i have recently come upon a 17c turbo for my car i have new exhaust manifold spacer plate to let the turbo clear the block, adapter plate for the turbo itself. my question is what is involved in connecting the rest of the exhaust as in the o2 housing. the one on the turbo is 3 bolts and one opening. isn't ours split into two openings? any help is apreciated thanks everyone.

Well, looking at your modlist I dont recomend using a 17c. You dont have the supporting mods to do so. If you really want to use it, do this:

1. You will have to run new charge pipes to be able to deliver the air since the intake side of the 17c turbo does not have mitsubishi style connection on it. Its more of a TO4-B style housing, If you do that you might as well run a FMIC to keep the intake temp down.
2. You will need more fuel supporting mods like; pump, regulator, and at least 550cc injectors.
3. Your exhaust will have to be redone since the exhaust housing is different. Run a 3" turbo back with a High flow cat and some sort of muffler. I know how it is in MD, you'll get pulled over and given an inspection ticket if its too loud believe me, it happend to me. :sneaky:
4. And at least get a logger so you can tune your car, tunning it is VERY important. Slapping on a turbo and expecting to be fast doesnt work for long. If your tight on cash get an Chip and look into using this software to tune. www.enginuity.org (FREE tuning software, READ before using)

I would reccomend using a small 16g. The spool up is fast and they are great street/strip turbos. A 16g will save you a headache of an installation, unlike the 17c. Let me know :thumb:

also i do log with a snap on scanner... and by chip you mean get an eeprom ecu? mine is not one. i do have an eeprom ecu but diferent year
