16g with ewg? worth it?

So i have a 96 gst and ive been ordering some performance parts for it the car was stock my maintenance is done and i have e3 16g 3" catback 560 injectors boost gauge greddy fmic i have a ewg laying around just a 38mm 2 bolt is it beneficial with my setup? Or should i just do a higher rated spring internal gate? My goal for the car is around 300whp should be able to reach my goal with these mods or am i missing something?

I will have a wally 190 and safc with wideband installed as well

Who knows- is proper boost control super-important to you? There is absolutely no performance benefit.

I mean i dont want my boost to spike a ton no but if yhere isnt a hp gain ill try internal 1st

I much prefer the control of a ewg. I had a lot of creep issues on my internal gate, switching to my tial helped a lot. I've ran 11.6 on my 16g and car has been great like this.

I'm planning on going external on my 16g. I have a pretty good internal wg but IMO external would work better for me.
