SO i finished installing my evo 3 16g turbo today and for some reason the car starts but when i press on the gas it dies. I checked for any disconnected piping and everything is connected fine. I also upgraded my fuel pump and injectors but they seem to run fine when the car is in idle. Also the car only idles for like 15 seconds before it dies.

Any suggestions??

Do a boost leak test and check for any plugs that are not connected properly such as your MAF.

You say you upgraded your fuel pump and injectors. Did you also upgrade to an Adjustable Fuel pressure regulator and something to control fuel to compensate for bigger injectors (ie dsmlink, maft, etc). Also check the condition of your injector plugs and make sure they are connected snugly, even though I am getting a sense that your problem is due to one or both of the first things I have mentioned.

When you start the car, did you let it just idle for 5 minutes? If you don't give it any gas and just let it idle, will it keep running?

I'm guessing (hoping) you disconnected your battery when doing the fuel mods. When power has been disconnected from the ECU, it needs to run for a few minutes to reset itself. It's recommended that you start the car and let it idle for 5 minutes without giving it any gas or anything.

If it won't idle at all, start by checking everything you did and make sure it's still getting fuel.

ok im going to get to doing a boost leak test and rechecking the injectors today. another thing i forgot to mention is that before i upgraded my turbo, the car had a cel for a missing fpr solenoid. you guys think this would have any effect on whats happening?

660s and a wally 190. when the car idles my wideband reads at 14 then rises up past 17 too

You're running out of fuel for some reason after the residual fuel in your fuel rail is used up. I would guess that there is a problem with the fuel pump or how it is hooked up.

Yep. I would suggest looking at the fuel pump again to make sure its getting the correct amount of voltage. Then invest in a Fuel Managment system like an Apexi - Super Air Fuel Controller as well as an Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator. Keeping the pressure at 42 psi is important. Espeically with such a big jump from 450cc to 660cc injectors, controlling the amount of time they are open is needed too.
