If I am logging only 17.5 lb/min on my evo 16g at 18 psi, would that mean that it is shot? How much would I have to compensate for the maft? And is that why the number is low? I bet the turbo is shot but just want some input from others. Thanks.

What are you using to read these numbers and which airflow sensor are you using.

If you are using a gm maf or afc, airflow numbers won't be accurate since you are lying to the ecu to "tune it".

And if you are running the gm maf zeroed out with dsmlink, it will still be off until you calibrate it in link. Now if you are on stock mas, or properly calibrated gm maf with link, then you can trust the numbers.

I am using obdII logger on my palm. Also the maft is not zeroed out. It is a three inch gm maf. Is there a way to calculate the correct airflow number? Thanks.

Yes, there's a formula, don't know it by heart nor do i have it saved anywhere. You can definitely find it if you search the forums. "calculate airflow" would be a good search key phrase.

I flow those numbers on my logger with my maf-t... Almost exact with same boost levels... mine pulls hard too LOL...
