hey,
im in the middle of installing my evo3, and im at the point where its becoming the time to connect the water lines. looking at the top of the turbo installed, i see the coolant line closest to the fan shroud, and the other coolant line closes to the engine block. now which line goes where? now i know that it was to be bent in a certain direction, but which one needs to be bent?

yes i did, i looked at 2 that were on there, and i didnt see anything about where the lines need to go, i know they are backwards, but im not shure where exactly they go, and what needs to be bent, if anything needs to be bent at all.

the water line that goes in front near the fan shroud is the drain line, which is a hard line. the feed goes from right under your radiator cap and is connected by a hose, then some hard line, maybe not for your car tho.

still not following, is there someone on the board that has done a evo3 swap? i just need to know what hoses go where.

If i remember this correctly, there is two cooling lines. One runs to right under your radiator. There is a nipple there where you have a piece of hose that connects to the line. Then there is a bung on the water line that runs across the engine block, which goes from your water pump to the lower radiator line. I know when i had my 16g setup i used a bradied line and installed brass fittings on the bung on the water line. But i think there should still be some kind of hose that may come off of it. Let me know if that helps.
