I was aiming for the leaner burn at idle/cruise to help with MPGs. I drive this car a lot and the best mpg I've gotten was 25mpg at 70mph. My latest trip netted me 20mpg.

Considering this I average around 240-250 miles per tank.

I drive over 300 on just a single trip so the money for the premium adds up quickly.

Having a properly maintained and tuned car will work more in your favor than lean burn at this point. Make it a goal to get it running well and then you can make it better in regards to MPG. All of the current issues are not helping that for sure.

What plugs/gap are you running?


Since I haven't mentioned it yet, check out these threads as well as you start to tune the idle. Anything not checked or corrected will make tuning a chore and you'll have to redo once you fix any issues found.

I had them set to .23 awhile back and was getting pretty significant blow out when under boost.

I've gotten a lot of help from some guys off of a ecmlink facebook page. This tune will be the death of me I tell ya...
