14b turbo questions

So I was wondering how much a 14b turbo would cost used. I have the T24 right now I think it's the stock 95 gst turbo. I've been reading on here that it's a good 1g turbo that can run on the 2g without having to fabricate anything. It's just for now, I plan on increasing to a bigger turbo later but I have a walbro190, Injen IS intake, poly mounts and a Blitz Boost gauge right now as far as support. I've seen some online but honestly I would rather get it local so I can look at it and make sure it's not a Chinese one or broken in any way.

You mean T25. That's the stock turbo for you guys. If your Gonna be spending any money I'd just get a used 16g or something man because it'll go on the same way. But to answer your question, a used 14b goes from like 75 bucks to 150. But just spend another hundred and get a lil 16g man. There's 3 diff versions you can choose from small 16g, big 16g, and Evo 3 16g and they all bolt up like a 14b so you might as well get one of the three.

My bad I should have proof read a little better, yeah my car is going to get a Evo 3 turbo. This is more for my wife's car, I saw that the t25 tops out around 267hp or around there. She is wanting close to 310hp with a good spool, so I figured with what I've read that would be a good enough upgrade along with a boost gauge, manual boost controller, ported manifold and new exhaust, I was thinking 2.5inch with a good APEXI setup.

Punky Booster (my car) is going to be around 380hp when I'm done I would list everything but I'm sure you guys have a good idea as to what that will take blood sweat and beer

small 16g is your best bet. you'd have to max out a 14b to get near that

300ish would be about maxing out the 14b but, would have less lag..The small 16g will be great for 300hp with only about 3k in lag, with room to grow...

A 14b can handle 21 psi and make 300hp but if you up the psi on the turbo I will blow faster if it's a good decent no shaft play turbo then your good to go, I would go with a 3" turbo back exhaust you can get a 3" off eBay for $250 shipped it sounds awesome I have a 3" Megan racing down pipe and a 3" custom test pipe then the 3" srs catback exhaust and it sounds amazing, also remember if you put a bigger turbo like a e3 16g you will need to upgrade your fuel system with a bigger fuel pump walbro 255 recommended also if your going to do that get a fuel pressure regulator also a aeromotive one to prevent the injectors and fuel rail from pumping too much fuel up to them.

My old 14b before i swapped the 20G spooled at about 2900-3,000
That's full boost at 18psi, it takes my 20g about 3,400-3,600 to hit full
boost at 18psi

if your going to upgrade later anyways, you might as well just spend the little extra and get the 16g. And the evo 3 is a good choice
